linuxboot aims to push the linux kernel as closed as possible to the hardware initialization phase as to accelerate system boot time, remove unnecessary code contained within UEFI stack, and ease system provisionning at hyperscale size by relying on a well tested and known software stack which can be customized.
We will cover during this talk the various modifications required to the linux kernel to make it fit as a DXE binary, and introduce the challenge to test the code at scale.
